Who we are
WHAT IS NAFCI?
The National Association of Filipino Choirs, Inc. (NAFCI) is a non-stock, non-profit organization that unites and advances the Philippine choral movement. Officially founded on August 21, 2024 and registered with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), NAFCI supports and serves key players of choral music such as; but not limited to conductors, composers, arrangers, organizers, singers, and supporters with tools on capacity building, peer networking, and best practices. In the spirit of communitarianism, the association centers on the wellbeing of their members and eventually hones them to becoming catalysts in the socio-economic development of their respective communities; thus, making them cultural ambassadors of the regions as they collectively showcase the diverse cultures of the Philippines.
Through choral music, NAFCI also aims to preserve, promote, and protect (the three Ps) the country’s tangible and intangible heritage as well as further exploring the distinct and lesser-known musical traditions of its indigenous people. With its five-year strategic framework at hand, it ultimately intends to instill national pride, identity, and cultural awareness among the Filipino choral community, ensuring global standards of the Filipino choral art for generations to come.
Mission
To unite and engage the Filipino choral community, along with its stakeholders in preserving, protecting, and promoting the country’s rich and diverse cultural heritage through choral art in the form of research, education, and best practices.
Vision
To be the leader in catapulting the Filipino performing arts sector, particularly choral music, to a high global standard and be a catalyst in revitalizing the socio-economic sector anchoring on the choral art in various Philippine communities.

Beyond choral music, he is the artistic director of Tribu Pan-ay, which recently won championships at the 2024 Dinagyang Festival and the 2024 Aliwan Fiesta. As a vocal coach, he has mentored numerous winners, including the vocal solo champion of the 2024 National PRISAAwitan Singing Competition. His guidance has inspired countless artists, enriching the Ilonggo community and elevating the standards of choral performance in the region.

Currently, he serves as the choir manager of the Kinaadman Chorale, a renowned mixed-voice ensemble at JBLFMU-Molo. He is also a freelance professional and social media manager. Additionally, he is one of the founding members of the National Association of Filipino Choirs, Inc.
He previously worked as the project manager and resident artist for JPT Uswag Artists, a project under the City Mayor’s Office that produced inspirational music video content featuring Ilonggo artists, which garnered over 3 million views during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has also worked with organizing committees for local choral competitions in the province.
